- Writers with or without formal literary and academic credentials
- Writers who feel out of place in the traditional literary sphere

What We Publish
We currently accept:
You may submit in:
- Fiction (max 3k words)
- Poetry (max 5 poems)
- (Creative)-nonfiction (max 3k words)
- Experimental work (max 3k words)
- English
- The featured language of the current issue
- A mix (parallel texts, bilingual pieces)
One-to-Watch Award
Guest Editor
Each issue includes a One-to-Watch Award, given to one writer making their literary debut in B.A Review.
The award includes lifetime access to B.A Review and an interview published on our Substack.
For each issue, there are six dedicated spots for work written in the featured language.
A guest editor of the featured language will curate these works of art to ensure the work is presented at its best.
Payment
Our Policy on AI
All accepted pieces receive a honorarium of up to €20 per piece through PayPal. We believe artists should be paid for their work.
We do not publish work generated by AI. Tools for spellcheck or formatting are fine, but the creative act must be entirely your own. We believe in the value and beautiful process of human creation.
